Other complementary therapies
We offer various complementary therapies to help your pet or alleviate its symptoms.
Laser therapy
We use the LASERDUSCHE 21+ POWERTWIN laser, a low-intensity laser. It is used locally to regenerate tissue, heal wounds and relieve pain. Laser therapy is also used, for example, for osteoarthritis. Cell growth is accelerated. Laser therapy has been shown to have an anti-inflammatory effect, reducing pain.
Electromagnetic therapy
Thanks to electro-magnetic therapy, cell activity normalises. The body's energy reaches a higher level. The immune defence is increased, tissue regeneration is supported and pain is alleviated.
Petcell cold plasma therapy
The pen generates a high voltage to produce a therapeutic cold plasma. The cold plasma stimulates the cells directly. It promotes the inflammatory process, heals wounds and also acts as a fungicide. Thermotherapy
Thermotherapy is the application of heat for chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis and the application of cold for more acute phases (e.g. trauma, post-operative).
Electrotherapy
Electrotherapy is primarily used to combat acute and chronic pain. Tissue regeneration can be accelerated after neural injuries, for example.
Therapeutic ultrasound
The principle is based on deep warm-up and micromassage. Therapeutic ultrasound helps in the treatment of tendon problems (e.g. tendinitis of the biceps tendon) or muscle problems (e.g. muscle stretching). The mobility and elasticity of the tissue is restored.
